CEO’s Message

Daeyang was founded in 1963 and has developed with responsibility and trust based on such construction business, a Korea’s keynote industry, as public works, architecture, plant, landscaping, electricity and cultural heritage for more than 50 years up to now.

We participated in relatively big-sized projects like government-led road, harbor, electricity generation equipments, industrial complex, facilities of sports, school and agriculture, and privately-led tourist facilities, condo and hotel. It also accumulated construction area technology by constructing and distributing apartment houses with its own brand name.

As a non construction business, Daeyang took part in the foundation of G1 (Gangwon No. 1 Broadcasting), which was proceeded with as a local civil broadcasting project in 2000, as a major shareholder. It also joined the foundation of Gangchon Rail Park in 2001 as a majority stakeholder and helped the complex develop into the landmark in Chuncheon, which draws 800,000 tourists a year, contributing continuous employment and local economic development.

The firm, never content with status quo, continues to explore such new future growth engines as technology development, overseas business expansion in parallel with the global era and double its efforts on business diversification on their bases.
